Case studies
The work, in detail.
What we produced. Why it mattered.
A closer look at selected Red & Gray projects — the brief, the production challenge, what we delivered and the commercial thinking behind it.
From large product ranges to architectural and campaign imagery, these are examples of how CGI and AI-enhanced production works on real commercial briefs.

UK kitchen brand
Seven new kitchen ranges.
Ready for a seasonal launch in eight weeks.
A UK kitchen brand needed complete marketing imagery for the seasonal launch of seven new ranges. For each range, we produced a hero image plus three additional room views, supported by detailed imagery of cabinetry, drawers, styling and key product features.
With a fixed launch date, the project needed to keep moving. Detailed drafts at every stage gave the client clear decisions to make, while constant communication kept approvals on track and production moving through to final delivery.
scope
7 kitchen ranges
output
Heroes · room views · detail imagery
delivery
8 weeks
Outcome
The complete image set was ready for the seasonal launch, giving the client coordinated marketing imagery across all seven new kitchen ranges. Hero images, supporting room views and detailed product imagery were produced within one eight-week programme.
national lighting retailer
75 new lighting products.
12 settings. One complete brochure update.
A national lighting retailer commissioned us to create the imagery for a major brochure update, covering 75 new products across residential, commercial, interior and exterior lighting.
Each light was accurately modelled in 3D with its material and finish options, then used to produce isolated catalogue imagery and twelve fully developed settings for the brochure’s main feature pages. The settings were built in 3D and professionally refined with AI, while the form, structure and specified details of every light remained locked to the accurate product model.
The same models also became working assets beyond the brochure, producing line drawings, dimensional plans and instructional graphics for use inside the product packaging.
scope
75 products · 12 settings
output
Brochure · catalogue · technical assets
delivery
10 weeks
Outcome
One coordinated production created the imagery for the brochure while also building a reusable 3D asset library for the wider product range. The same accurate models could serve marketing, technical documentation and packaging without recreating the products for each application.

FURNITURE MANUFACTURER
25 furniture pieces. 10 settings.
Ready for an international launch in six weeks.
A furniture manufacturer needed a substantial new image library for an international furniture show, supported by a website update and social media campaign.
We modelled 25 furniture pieces from CAD drawings and photography, including every available fabric option, and developed ten different interior settings spanning a broad range of styles and sectors. Catalogue imagery showed the complete choice, while selected fabrics were brought into the settings to communicate their texture, character and quality in a more natural context.
Accurate fabric development was an important part of the project, allowing the collection to be shown consistently across catalogue imagery and lifestyle settings.
scope
25 products · 10 settings · multiple fabrics
output
Catalogue · website · social · launch imagery
delivery
6 weeks
Outcome
The complete furniture collection was ready for launch within six weeks, with consistent imagery across products, fabrics and ten distinctly different environments. Achieving the same breadth through conventional photography within the same production window would have been extremely difficult.
NATIONAL HOUSEBUILDER
From early planning to active development.
Keeping imagery ahead of the build.
Our long-standing relationship with a national housebuilder covers imagery across different stages of development, with AI progressively extending what we can produce and how early we can produce it.
From flat 2D CAD and material schedules, we create photographic house-type illustrations, street scenes and planning imagery before final construction drawings are available. As developments progress, site photography under construction can become the starting point for new marketing imagery, allowing completed streets and homes to be visualised well before those views physically exist.
We also recreate older visualisations as new, more photographic marketing imagery, retaining the original architecture while substantially improving the realism and presentation.
scope
Multiple developments · ongoing
output
House types · street scenes · marketing imagery
delivery
Ongoing partnership
Outcome
The relationship gives the client a continuing source of imagery throughout the development cycle. Marketing, advertising and social campaigns can begin earlier, imagery can evolve as sites progress, and older assets can be refreshed rather than automatically starting again.

bedroom furniture manufacturer/retailer
A complete multi-product launch. From individual products to finished rooms.
A bedroom furniture manufacturer needed a complete suite of imagery for the launch of several new product ranges across its brochure, website and wider marketing.
Working from the client’s briefs, we quickly developed six complete bedroom settings in 3D. Each contained between five and ten new furniture and bed products, individually modelled before being used to produce the required SKU imagery and complete room scenes.
Every setting was initially built and rendered in 3D before being professionally refined with AI. Alongside a hero image and two or three additional room views, we produced detailed close-ups highlighting surface finishes, materials and construction details across the individual products.
scope
6 settings · multiple product ranges
output
SKU imagery · room scenes · product details
delivery
10 weeks
Outcome
The client had a complete, consistent image library ready for launch within ten weeks, without organising separate photography for individual products, room sets and marketing requirements. One coordinated production covered the range from catalogue imagery through to campaign-ready interiors.
